Revolutionary, Anointed, Bold, and Cutting Edge are some of the words that are often used to describe the ministry of Pastor Cedric Deon Beard, Senior Pastor of the historic Griggs Chapel Missionary Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas. 

This mighty man of God has truly inspired many people around the nation to go to the next spiritual dimension in Christ. Words do not adequately describe the mantle he carries  that truly distinguishes him as a remarkable visionary who has made a powerful impact in the body of Christ.

Pastor Beard is a leader that is determined to exalt the savior, evangelize the sinner, equip the saints, and expose Satan. Through the years of ministry, God has blessed him to preach for some of the nations most recognized men and women of God.

Pastor Beard was born on April 16, 1981 in Grand Prairie, Texas to Mr. Clarence & Mrs. Vicki Beard and began preaching the word of God at the tender age of five (5) years old, preaching his initial sermon on Sunday, June 29, 1986. Not only is Pastor Beard an anointed preacher & teacher of God’s word but he is also an accomplished musician & soloist. Throughout his ministry he has been blessed to pastor churches in Mississippi, Louisiana & Texas.

In spite of the awesome anointing on his life, Pastor Beard is still humble enough to proudly be a “touchable pastor.” His humility allows him to connect with those from the cradle to the cane. Not only is he a mighty man of God but he is the husband of Lady Niesha Jarvis-Beard & the loving and devoted father to his children; Abigail, Cilyse, London, Madisyn, Christian, Chaniya & Cedric II.

Ultimately no matter how he is described, Pastor Cedric Deon Beard is dedicated to “Intentionally Imparting the Word to Impact the World.”
