How do I give to multiple funds at one time?

Tithe.ly makes it simple for you to give to as many funds as you'd like when logged into your Tithe.ly account (more info on logging into your Tithe.ly account can be found here).

Giving to multiple funds can be done from the Tithe.ly app or from the web. The below instructions show how it can be done.

From the Tithe.ly app:

Open the Tithe.ly app on your smartphone.
Log into your account.
Make sure the organization you'd like to give to appears up top. If it doesn't you can click on "find nearest church" or use the search bar located at the top to find and select your organization.
Click on the "Give Now" button.
Once on the giving form, look for the icon of a + sign with words "Add Gift" next to it.
Click on that link to add a new gift. (You can click on it as many times as you'd like)
Note: You can then click on the icon of a - sign to remove an additional gift.

From the web:

Either from the organizations website you give to (eg. your church or ministry) or from here, log into your Tithe.ly account.
Make sure the organization you'd like to give to appears up top. If it doesn't you can click on "find nearest church" or use the search bar located at the top to find and select your organization.
Click on the "Give Now" button.
Once on the giving form, look for the icon of a + sign with words "Add Gift" next to it.
Click on that link to add a new gift. (You can click on it as many times as you'd like)
Note: You can then click on the icon of a - sign to remove an additional gift.

Do I have to have a Tithe.ly account to give?

No! You can absolutely donate, register, or pay without signing up for a Tithe.ly account except for when using text-to-give or the Tithe.ly mobile app where having an account is required.

When giving, registering, or paying via the Tithe.ly web giving form you do NOT have to create a Tithe.ly account to make one-time or recurring donations. We wanted to make that process easy and pain-free. You can start giving from your favorite organization's website at any time.

However if you'd like to make giving as easy as possible and have the opportunity to take advantage of all the Tithe.ly features, you'll have to create an account.

The below features become available to you with an account:

Securely store your payment method (so you don't have to type it out each time)
Setup / cancel a recurring donation
See your giving history
Manage your account yourself 24/7

How do I setup auto recurring giving using Tithe.ly?

First, you'll want to be sure you have a Tithe.ly account.

Depending on your preferred way to give, you can create a Tithe.ly account in a few ways:

By installing the Tithe.ly app.
By clicking on the "create account" link located at the top of the giving form you normally give from.
By following the text-to-give instructions you would have received from the organization you're supporting (eg. your church or ministry).
Or... you can simply click here.

Setting up a recurring gift.

Once you have a Tithe.ly account you'll be able to setup auto recurring giving in a few clicks. When giving your next gift, simply turn on the "Setup automated giving" option (see graphic) and select your preferred giving schedule.

Your recurring giving options are:

Every week
Every 2 weeks
Every month
1st and 15th

That's it! You are now setup.

How do I reset my password?

Forgot your password? Looking to update, change, reset your password? You can quickly reset your password by clicking this link. Enter your email into the field and click on the "Email New Password" button.

You will receive an email shortly after with a one-time login URL. Click on that link from within your email and follow the instructions on screen to reset your password.

Be sure to remember your new password!

How do I download and install the Tithe.ly App?

To download the Tithe.ly app in order to support your church through mobile giving, you can click on the links below for Android or iOS. Or you can search “Tithely” in your smartphone’s app store

Once you've downloaded and installed the Tithe.ly App on your smartphone, create your account by clicking “Create Account”.

Once your account is created you can search for your home church by using the search box located at the top or you can click on the "find nearest church" button if you're near where your church meets.

When you've found your church and are ready to give just click the “Give Now” button and complete the giving form!

How do I add a payment method (Credit Card, Debit Card, Bank Account)?

Tithe.ly makes it possible to make a contribution to the organization of your choosing using a credit card, debit card, or bank account [ACH/eCheck] (US only).

If you already have an account with Tithe.ly and would like to add a new credit card, debit card, and/or bank account, you can do so from the Tithe.ly app or by logging into your account here: https://tithe.ly/give.

Add a payment method from the Tithe.ly app:

Open the Tithe.ly from your smartphone.
Click "payment methods" from the home screen or click on the menu located in the top left corner and then click on "payment methods".
To add a credit or debit card, be sure you've selected "credit/debit" from the bottom tabs, then click on the green plus (+) icon.
Enter your card information and click "Add card".
To add a bank account, be sure you've selected "bank account" from the bottom tabs, then click on the green plus (+) icon.
- You have two ways to add a bank account:
  - Click on the "Sign in with online banking" button and use your online banking credentials to connect your bank account to Tithe.ly or
  - Enter your bank account and routing number and click "save and continue"

In order to change credit card, debit card, or bank account information, you'll have to delete what you have stored currently, and add a new one.

Delete a payment method from the Tithe.ly app:

Open the Tithe.ly from your smartphone.
Click "payment methods" from the home screen or click on the menu located in the top left corner and then click on "payment methods".
To remove a credit or debit card, be sure you've selected "credit/debit" from the bottom tabs, then click on the red trash can icon.
Click on the red "Remove" button to confirm removal of that payment method.
To remove a bank account, be sure you've selected "bank account" from the bottom tabs, then click on the red trash can icon.
Click on the red "Remove" button to confirm removal of that payment method.

How do I cancel a scheduled recurring gift?

A recurring gift schedule enables you to set details like the amount and frequency so that you can easily support the organization of your choice while never missing a gift.

Fortunately, when you start a recurring schedule you aren't stuck with it. Tithe.ly knows that things changes and there may be the need to modify, pause, or cancel your recurring schedule.

To delete a recurring schedule from the Tithe.ly app:

Open the Tithe.ly app on your smartphone. If you haven't downloaded the TIthe.ly app yet, read how to here.
From the home screen, click on "automated giving" or click on the top left navigation and then click on "automated giving" from the flyout menu.
Click the trash can icon next to the recurring gift you wish to cancel.
Click remove to confirm cancellation of that recurring gift.

To delete a recurring payment schedule from the web:

Login to your Tithe.ly account at https://tithe.ly/give.
From the home screen, click on "automated giving" or click on the top left navigation and then click on "automated giving" from the flyout menu.
Click the trash can icon next to the recurring gift you wish to cancel.
Click remove to confirm cancellation of that recurring gift.

Do givers / donors receive a receipt after giving?

Absolutely! A person giving through Tithe.ly will receive an automatically sent email seconds after you finish giving.

The gift email includes:

Date of gift
Name of organization given to
Amount given
Fund / designation of gift
Gift ID
